    For your ease of finding Bible verses posted here, we are posting the Bible we often use and another website to access it quickly:   Proverbs 28:9 GNV - He that turneth away his ear from - Bible Gateway.com                                                                                     The 1599 Geneva Bible played a key role in prompting King James of England to commission the 1611 King James Bible (notable, though somewhat self-serving in name).  While the King James Bible went on to become the most widely read Bible in the world, the 1599 Geneva Bible gradually faded into history, though not without leaving its mark. 

                                                                Some of what we believe:

    [1] In Scripture Alone., 2 Timothy 3:16: "For the whole Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teach, to convince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousness.", Revelation 22:18: "For I protest unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book  

    [2] For Christ Alone., 1 John 2:2, 4:10: "And he is the reconciliation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world., Herein is that love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be a reconciliation for our sins."

    [3] By Faith Alone., Romans 1:17: "For by it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith." 

    [4] In Grace Alone., Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God., Not of works, lest any man should boast himself." 

    [5] For the Glory of God Alone., 1 Corinthians 10:31: "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

The Five Solas: Reformation Bible College

    The Five Solas were the cornerstone principles of the early Protestant Church, emerging in Europe in 1517 and of the churches formed in Early America.  Church and World history records reveals The Five Solas of the Reformation were instrumental to fall of the Church of England having 100's fleeing for their lives from the Catholic British Queen Bloody Mary as she was burning Christians at the stake during the years 1555 to 1558.

    Among the Five Solas, one purposefully misused is Sola Scriptura, altering the original text of any Bible passage to fit a personally satisfying interpretation.   See:   What defines a group as a cult?
