    MSC is a non-denominational, independent Church that embraces a variety of Protestant beliefs.

    For your ease of finding Bible verses posted here, we are posting the Bible we often use and another website to access it quickly:   Proverbs 28:9 GNV - He that turneth away his ear from - Bible Gateway.com                                                                                     The 1599 Geneva Bible played a key role in prompting King James of England to commission the 1611 King James Bible (notable, though somewhat self-serving in name).  While the King James Bible went on to become the most widely read Bible in the world, the 1599 Geneva Bible gradually faded into history, though not without leaving its mark.

   [ This ain't me:  "For the time will come when they will not suffer (allow) wholesome doctrine: but having their ears itching, shall after their own lusts get them an heap of teachers, And shall turn their ears from the truth, and shall be given unto fables."        (2Timothy 4:3-4) ]

    Mustard Seed Church is our 2nd Church Plant in the Valley.  The first being in Winchester.  Christ Reigns Church legally assumed possession of our first Church plant in August 2025 and stands as a small monument to Jesus as a testimony to what can be done for Him with a bit of elbow grease and desire.  The MSC Church Plant is another genuine undertaking for The Lord.  Here is a picture of our first Church Plant:  Christ Reigns Church Home

    We hope, Lord willing and before 11/26, to grow this small Church into a new building of about 1,200 square feet that can seat around 50 to 75 people. The plan is for it to have a usable basement, providing space for fellowship and children’s Sunday School.  If it be The Lord's Will, once established, we’d like to gift the Church and all proceeds and assets into capable hands of a younger board of directors and a married male Pastor, or a Widower with exception depending. 

    If you’re currently renting Church space and we share similar beliefs, you’re welcome to join us rent-free as Senior Pastor, preaching a Worship Service while I serve as Associate Pastor for an Adult Sunday School Service. 

    For what it’s worth, MSC is partially financially ready to build the future Church.  Everything we have ultimately belongs to God (Psalm 24:1).  My wife and I will not be able to continue leading the formation of this Church beyond 11/26, as we’re nearing 70 years old and wish to slow down. 

    If you’re one serious about your walk with the Lord and want to do something grand for Him, we invite you to join this Church Plant as Charter and Founding Members.  For younger men or pastors, this is a unique opportunity to create a beautiful, small Early American-style Christian Church that will serve generations long after we have all passed away.

    [1] In Scripture Alone., 2 Timothy 3:16: "For the whole Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teach, to convince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousness.", Revelation 22:18: "For I protest unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.*  

    [2] For Christ Alone., 1 John 2:2, 4:10: "And he is the reconciliation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world., Herein is that love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be a reconciliation for our sins."

    [3] By Faith Alone., Romans 1:17: "For by it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith." 

    [4] In Grace Alone., Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God., Not of works, lest any man should boast himself." 

    [5] For the Glory of God Alone., 1 Corinthians 10:31: "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

    *Among the Five Solas, one purposefully and regularly misused is Sola Scriptura by ignoring the context of a verse and by altering any original text of any Bible passage to fit a personally satisfying interpretation.  A recent example:  Please ignore the giggling host because it's not a laughing matter.  The Pastorette takes one verse out of context completely wrong.  That is what wolves in sheep's clothing do to people who do not know the Bible which they claim to believe.   US Representative PUBLICLY Corrects "Reverend" About the Bible! - YouTube

    The Five Solas were the cornerstone principles of the early Christian Church, emerging in Europe in 1517 and of the churches formed in Early America.  Church and World history records reveals The Five Solas of the Reformation were instrumental to the fall of the Church of England having 100's fleeing for their lives from the Catholic British Queen Bloody Mary as she was burning Christians at the stake during the years 1555 to 1558.
