   We sing along to 603 recordings played through surround sound speakers but not overly loud.  These are some of the most meaningful, beautiful hymns ever recorded.  I refer to these recordings as our Electronic Choir.  The Electronic Choir floods out my raspy voice, so don't be embarrassed to come to sit and listen, read along or sing to The Savior with us.

   You will recognize most of the hymns and the others will leave you asking yourself, "where have these been?"  These are our offering to you and to The Lord.  

   We made a point to include in our hymnal some Gospel Bluegrass Hymns. With the unique high lonesome sound in the genre, their hymns and styles reflect the cries out to God of the Psalmists throughout the Book of Psalms.  The writers and singers of Bluegrass Gospel have, as Fanny Crosby did, delved some into secular music and with each, their hymns are still acceptable to those who enjoy meaningful lyrics.  

   Psalm 100:1-5 tells us this: "Sing ye loud unto the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyfulness. Know ye that even the Lord is God; he hath made us, and not we ourselves: we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with praise, and into his courts with rejoicing: praise him and bless his Name. For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting, and his truth is from generation to generation."

   Most of these Hymns are found in a typical Church Hymnal, while many have not found their way into Church Hymnals as I learned while searching for Hymnals in 2015.  Fanny Crosby wrote over 6000 Hymns, Charles Wesley over 6000 and Isaac Watts, nearly 1000.  John Newton wrote 280 that we know of including Amazing Grace, a hymn partially about his short-lived business of slavery before The Lord in time changed his life.  

   Between my wife and I, I'm certain we have thousands of hours involved in putting this unique hymnal together.  Many familiar hymns and a mixture of others make up the 603 total.  Trust me when I say you will be blessed if you come and sing along or only read along with the lyrics, or just sit and listen, many of which are quite emotional and moving.  

    Many of these recordings by well-conducted University, College, Church Camps, and Professional Choirs provide for no one singer singing over the others nor carrying his or her voice a beat after the line has ended.  These Choirs are so well conducted that no one singer out-shines another.  Singing Hymns just doesn't get any better.

   The composition, voices and harmonies of some of the Hymns and their history can be quite touching and emotional.  If your Church would like to schedule this Music Ministry event, please call with as much notice as is possible.  We want your Church to enjoy some of the best hymn voice recordings of all time.

How it works:

   To Schedule an appointment to have our Music Ministry arrive at your Church please call 540-327-4693.  Due to telemarketers, we screen most calls so please leave a message.  You may screen which hymns you would like played beforehand.

   After the appointment is scheduled, we may or may not need to see your sanctuary before the Hymn Sing.  We typically arrive before the Service to set up 2 to 4 medium-size speakers, a Laptop Computer and place our Hymnals on the pews or on the chair storage racks. 

   A short Bible reference and some Hymn history may be included for some of the Hymns.  The time required for this Hymn Sing is approximately 1-1/2 hours for 15-20 Hymns. We stand for the first and last hymn and remain seated for the others unless you prefer otherwise.

    How much does this cost??  To help cover our expenses a minimal cash or coin Love Offering will satisfy us.
